Crystal Radio Set Kits are sometimes called Xtal Radio Kits and Crystal Diode Radios.
Listen to radio using only the power in the radio waves
The kits do not come with antenna or ground wire (For Earth Ground or Antenna)
A minimum of a
30-50ft long outdoor Antenna Wire is recommended.
The reason you need a good length antenna is because the more antenna you have, the more power your set will receive, and the louder it will be.

The Components for the Crystal Radio Kit are:
1-Piezo Earphone with Connector
1-470uh Inductor
1-Generic Breadboard
1-High Performance Germanium Diode ( Crystal Diode Detector )
1- resistor
1- .001 Capacitor
1- 350uh Mini High performance Coil Wound on a ferrite core.
1- Variable Capacitor-
1- Variable Capacitor  (Use a good adhesive to bond the capacitor inside the case, don't apply too much adhesive or the glue will bind the rotating shaft. E6000 is a great adhesive and available at Super Mart Stores)
1- Tuning Knob and extension shaft with screws and washers
1- Project Enclosure-Instrument Case
2- Banana Jack Posts (Colors of posts and Style may vary)
2- Banana Jack Plugs (Premium Gold Plated Plugs with Threaded twist on fittings)
1- 3.5mm Audio Jack
1- Schematic Diagram Showing all Electrical connections and assembly instructions. (will be emailed)
