Vintage 1947 Majestic Radio Model 7S433 Now A Bluetooth Speaker w/Lighted Dial

At a recent auction I found this 1947 Majestic model 7S433 radio. It had not worked for decades. The overall shape & size of this deco classic is great. Please look at the pics. This old beauty was the elegant upgraded top of the line tabletop model for Majestic. It has very classic lines and a real furniture quality. Pretty cool. I removed the non-working guts, cleaned the case,  knobs (was missing one that I replaced.)  & glass dial. The body is mahogany veneer and in good shape. I did not want to remove the original finish just clean it up. So here it is & looks good for its age. Preserved the original patina with 2 coats of lacquer. Yes there are a few beauty marks but to be expected for 70 years old.  On the inside, I installed a new Bluetooth digital stereo hi-fi audio amplifier with 50 watts in addition a big 5" multi range  speaker. Yes this classic is now a real boom box.  Added  green LED lights to the beautiful glass dial and now it glows. Nice. This thing sounds good & lites up. The on/off switch for the dial light is on the back panel. Installed the on/off/volume switch on the larger center knob. The other knobs are fixed. Used period correct gold speaker cloth to keep up the elegance. All of the electronics are hard wired and secured to the inner supports insure a long life.  This one of a kind Bluetooth stereo that is art deco cool. A real conversation piece. There is a new electrical plug also. The 1947 Majestic radio converted to Bluetooth stereo measures a large 21" x 17" x 7 " and weighs in at 6lbs hence a higher shipping cost.
